Chesterfield Sport Clubs
Chesterfield Baseball is one of the largest youth baseball organizations in the state of Virginia. CBC is comprised of 26 local athletic associations stretching throughout the county. The boundary lines for the associations are the same as those for the elementary schools which they represent. From the northern part of the county near Midlothian to Matoaca in the South, CBC provides youth baseball opportunities for every boy and girl in Chesterfield County.
Chesterfield Football Association is committed to giving young athletes an opportunity to develop themselves physically and emotionally through athletic participation for over 40 years. Formerly Bonhomme Junior Football League, we changed our name to Chesterfield Football Association (CFA) in 2005 as we moved to our new location in Chesterfield Valley and joined the Gateway Football League.

Ancestor clubs: Chesterfield FC, Chesterfield Town FC, Chesterfield Town FC. Previous names: Chesterfield Municipal FC until December 1920. Stadium: B2net Stadium, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield. Previous grounds: The Recreation Ground, Chesterfield. The Rec was in use as a football ground between 1871 and 2010.Prior to 1871 the first Chesterfield FC played at another “Recreation Ground,” on Saltergate, around 100 yards closer to the town centre.
The Chesterfield Golf Club was formed in 1897 and moved to its present site at Walton in 1906. The course is either side of woodland (Riggots Plantation), the top seven holes on the eastern side being quite different in character to the remaining eleven holes on the lower western side of the course, over which Birdholme Brook meanders and brings many golfers to a watery end.
Landings at Spirit Golf Club is located in the fertile Missouri River Valley of Chesterfield, between the bluffs of Wildhorse Creek Road and the Spirit of St. Louis Airport. Landings at Spirit Golf Club is an 18-hole championship public golf course with links-style fairways and double greens. Though the course is expertly designed to be a challenge for the highly skilled golfer, Landings at Spirit Golf Club has provided five sets of golf tees, from "Super Cub" to "Harrier II", so that we may accommodate golfers of all skill levels.
Chesterfield and District Athletic Club was formed in 1978 as a result of a surge in interest in athletics locally, created by the coming of the English Schools Track and Field Championships to the track at, what is now, Brookfield Community School, in July of that year. The Club moved its training base to Tupton School in 2008 with the benefit of a floodlit all-weather track and indoor sports hall and gym.
